Overview

With the rest of the country already given a chance to get their slurp on, we were starting to think the infamous Night Noodle Markets would never make an appearance in Auckland. Alas. The event is en route and schedule for this November.

The Night Noodle Markets first started in Australia 18 years ago, and only made its way across the pond this year, with events in Queenstown, Christchurch and Wellington attracting upwards of 250,000 noodle heads. The event is a pop up hawker-style market celebrating the thin squiggly cuisine of Asia. For five nights, from November 30 to December 4, a range of food vendors will gather in Auckland's Victoria Park to hawk practically every noodle dish known to man.

As well as drowning in noodles from every region, punters will have the opportunity to get their mitts on dumplings, curry, grilled bbq meat and more. Entry is totally free and dishes will range from $5 - $15.
