Overview

Forget what you think you know about Russia and immerse yourself in a feast of food and sound at Grey Lynn favourite The Vodka Room's one night event, One Night in Moscow.

Take off the fur and down your drinks to the simultaneously uplifting and satiric stylings of infamous Russian crooner Sergei Kuprik (of band Lesopoval) as he brings Mother Russia to Aotearoa on the Pacific leg of his world tour.

Having established a reputation for producing outstanding Ruski fare, this very special celebration offers punters a look behind the iron curtain, inviting guests to indulge in a sumptuous three-course feast, with a Kiwi twist. Featuring traditional seafood recipes of caviar and salmon, followed by triple cooked Hawke's Bay lamb ribs and Uzbek spices and kefir and honey panna cotta — vegetarians can certainly still apply.

Escape to an opulent world, where the jovial music is peppered with political angst, the food is phenomenal and the hospitality will have you floored (literally). Za zdaróvye!
