If you find the idea of painting boring, then how about throwing in a collection of adorable puppies? As part of Artweek Auckland, Art in Bloom is partnering with Auckland Puppy Rescue to bring you the cutest art event of the year.
At the event on Saturday, 10 October you can try your hand at painting with pups at Studio One Toi Tū in Ponsonby. The puppies will also be available for adoption, so you might go home with more than just a pawfect painting. The ticket price covers all of the materials needed to create your masterpiece and puppy playtime. All proceeds will go to Auckland Puppy Rescue.
The tenth edition of Artweek Auckland returns between 10–18 October to celebrate our city's diverse artistic community. Featuring exhibitions, happenings and workshops across ten precincts, each area aims to highlight its unique place in Auckland's artistic landscape. This year's eight-day celebration is packed with over 50 late-night events, free guided tours, drawing clubs, exhibitions and beverage tastings for art aficionados.
