Paper Pirates

‘Paper Pirates’ is a unique style of exhibition where the images displayed are submitted by the public. In celebration of Matariki, photographers have been asked to consider a theme of ‘Manaakitanga – sharing our world with others’. All submissions will be exhibited on July 19th, but with a twist; at the end of the exhibition, guests are invited to pull their favourite image off the wall as a keepsake.

Silo Park will also celebrate one of NZ’s favourite comedians with a very special edition of Silo Cinema on Saturday night, ‘Billy T: Te Movie’, a family-friendly documentary that chronicles a Kiwi legend and includes interviews and remastered footage. Silo Cinema will be accompanied by the Silo Markets – which are also taking place on Sunday 21st July, featuring some of Auckland’s favourite vendors such as Stumpy's, Langos, and The Lucky Taco.
