Pennywise, Alkaline Trio, Sommerset, Less Than Jake

A quadruple billed punk rock show featuring reunions, original lineups, blood, sweat and fast riffage will take place in Auckland this March.

Thanks to the return of their original vocalist, Jim Lindberg, Southern California’s Pennywise will come together as their original line-up to perform the blend of melodic high energy punk that made them one of the most successful independent punk acts ever. The performance comes after two sold out reunion shows held last year at the Hollywood Palladium.

Also jumping on the reunification bus will be iconic Auckland punk/hardcore band Sommerset. The band went there separate ways in 2005 after a ten year stint that saw them release three full length albums and numerous EPs. They last played a series of one-off shows in 2008.

Alkaline Trio, quite possibly the youngest of the four announced acts, will make the journey from America's Midwest. The three-piece formed in 1996 releasing eight albums in the process.

US ska punk band Less Than Jake finish off the line-up. The five-piece has released nine albums over their 20 year musical voyage, the last in 2013 titled See The Light.
