Ahoy me hearties. This week, Auckland's pirates are swapping their barrels of rum for beer. Walk the plank if you dare and taste the intriguing brews from across the waters.

If the pirates' life is for you then step aboard the ship and join the party as Australia's best brewery, Pirate Life Brewing, take over Uptown Freehouse for Auckland Beer Week 2017, bringing a variety of pints for you to set your hooks upon.

Make sure to bring plenty of gold coins as the beer quarter of Auckland, Uptown Freehouse will be presenting five tap beers from the GABS hottest top 20. This is definitely one for the hop heads as they'll be pouring Throwback Session IPA, Hopco NZ Pale, and plenty of IPAs. The beers will be flowing all night long and you'll even have the chance to meet the brewers themselves.
