Ten lyrical athletes go head to head to compete for the grand prize of $500 smackers and the prestigious Festival Champion Crown.

Having competed for the opportunity and been hand picked by MC Penny Ashton, these poets will be battling their hearts out for the final prize. Judged by English comedian and classics nut Natalie Haynes, Australian poetry slam champion Zohab Zee Khan and hip-hop musician turned poet Tourettes, this event promises to be a riotously fun way to start your Saturday night.
