Overview

It's a widely held belief that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. For most of us this consists of a piece of toast and a cup of coffee - usually on the run, half eaten or left half cold. The good folks at Popped Culture however want to bring back the joy of taking time for breakfast - sitting at the table, chatting about plans for the day, warming your hands on a steaming hot cup of joe. It's an important part of the day and they would like to share it with you.

Now in its third instalment, Popped Culture by Coffee Supreme regularly joins forces with some of Auckland's exciting and up-and-coming chefs, bakers and industry personalities to serve up toast and coffee as a pop-up in an unexpected location. Not just your regular toast and jam combo either, you'll be tempted by toppings (one sweet and one savoury) created specifically for the event by the chef they are working with. This time it's Hayden Scott from Al Brown and Company. He'll be serving these up on freshly baked bread from Mt Eden's Olaf's Artisan Bakery and Café and you'll be able to wash it all down with Coffee Supreme.

There are three different mornings to attend from July 14 - 16. Your ticket covers your toast (two pieces) and coffee. This time there are children's tickets on offer too so you and the whole family can be set to face the day ahead.
