Overview

Having delighted audiences both gay and straight over the past eight years, it's time to farewell the extravaganza that is Queen of the Whole Universe.

But that doesn't mean you can expect a low key affair, the 2012 charity event will be its biggest to date – biggest in cast numbers, wigs, heels, sequins, choreography - the lot. Contestants from previous shows dating as far back as its first in 2004 will also be returning to join the festivities and the event will attempt to break it's own Guinness World Record for “Largest Onstage Drag Show.” Why not, right?

This is your last chance to be involved in New Zealand's most successful Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transvestite, Transsexual theatrical event; the incredible, glitzy, glamorous and above all else, very queer beauty pageant.
