Rise Against

Overview

The American hardcore band are a back in Auckland for one show on Tuesday, December 8 at the Auckland Town Hall. Originally from Chicago, Rise Against have made a fair bit of headway in their career dominating the semi-underground hardcore music scene. I know, a bit of a tongue twister, but the band have continued with the same core music values they started with, creating good old "angsty" rock music.

Their latest album, Black Market, is sure to inspire the setlist for the night, along with a few of the crowd pleasing classics. With Lead guitarist Zach Blair collaborating on this album, he is also heading to our shores with the band. His addition to the band seems to be working in their favour, with their latest album debuting at number 3 on the Billboard 200.

Rise Against have a hell of a stage presence and are all talented musicians to boot. This show will be a great one to get down and dirty with, in true rocker fashion. Get circle-pit ready for an old fashioned night of great music, that keeps the party tricks of pop stars at home.
