Overview

The RunNation Film Festival is back for another year to motivate the athlete in you.

Now in its fifth year, the RunNation Film Festival is dedicated to inspirational human interest stories that use running as their medium of storytelling. It's curated into a two-hour documentary that highlight thought-provoking storylines and outstanding cinematography.

This year the ten short films feature two world premieres. Showing this year is Aziza, the story of female ultra-runner Aziza Raji who has overcome social and cultural challenges to become a role model for up-and-coming athletes in Morocco. Run the Line focuses on Australian Beau Miles as he takes on the Victoria Rail Trail, and Frosty follows Kiwi trail runner Anna Frost as she takes on the challenge of motherhood.

Limited screenings start from 26 August at Event Cinema on Queen Street, and then throughout New Zealand in August and September.
