Saint Jerome’s Laneway Festival 2013

Now in it’s fourth year, Laneways Auckland for the first time since its inception will return to its 2012 venue of choice, Wynard Quarter and Silo Park. Noted for bringing together some of the worlds newest and most influential acts, including talented local artists, Laneways has the ability to both challenge and broaden your taste in music. It is set to be the largest yet in Auckland, with a bigger site extending across the waterfront (including a new stage), with (much appreciated) increased shade, grassed areas, tables, chairs and umbrellas. Bar sizes have been doubled and there will be more food on offer. Bring on St Jerome's Laneway 2013.

Overview

Now in it’s fourth year, Laneways Auckland for the first time since its inception will return to its 2012 venue of choice, Wynard Quarter and Silo Park. Noted for bringing together some of the worlds newest and most influential acts, including talented local artists, Laneways has the ability to both challenge and broaden your taste in music.

Festival organisers have heard the abundance of venue related complaints from last year and changes are in check for the upcoming festival: It is set to be the largest yet in Auckland, with a bigger site extending across the waterfront (including a new stage), with (much appreciated) increased shade, grassed areas, tables, chairs and umbrellas. Bar sizes have been doubled and there will be more food on offer.

With over 24 artists announced, including the likes of Bat for Lashes, Tame Impala, Alt J, Flume, Of Monsters and Men, Jessie Ware and local talents Lawrence Arabia and The Pheonix Foundation to name a few, it will be a delicious day in the sun come Auckland's birthday.
