Short + Sweet

Overview

Short + Sweet is the perfect introduction to theatre for those with a tenancy to lose the plot (line) and find themselves walking out scoffing with other attendees, all while in the back of their mind being completely lost of what the hell just went on in there. Fret not fellow short attention span-ers, Short + Sweet is a collaboration of over 350 performers and creatives showcasing ten dynamic 10-minute performances. With a smorgasbord of styles and subjects, spanning from theatre, dance, song and cabaret, there’ll be something to suit everyone in your gaggle of go-ers.

From the brain-child that is Sydney, Short + Sweet has held festivals across the globe including every major city in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Philippines, UAE and USA. This year will be the seventh Short + Sweet in Auckland, held at TAPAC (The Auckland Performing Arts Centre) in Western Springs from September 1 - 27. Be there or be culturally uneducated.
