Overview

Silo Park Cinema makes its highly anticipated re-opening for the summer season, offering a variety of outdoor movie experiences as the perfect way to make the most of our long, summer evenings surrounded by friends and family.

Things are getting a little freaky in the Silos on Friday 13 January with a showing of Taika Waititi's highly-acclaimed film What We Do In The Shadows. The mockumentary-style flick follows a house of vampires who flat together in Wellington, and the daily ups and downs they face assimilating their ancient and bloodthirsty needs into a modern New Zealand landscape. Widely praised for its dry humor, brilliant comedic acting and original take on the trending vampire/fantasy narrative, Waititi's film earned an impressive 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, and is a must-see piece of Kiwi cinema.

So round up the troops (only if they're over thirteen) and get amongst a bit of Halloween in January, it will be a freakishly good night.
