Definitely the biggest coin drop on The Playground so far.. a night with the big dog himself.

Your favourite daydream involves a holiday house in the Seychelles, a personal masseuse and two private jets. But lets face it; you’re 45 times more likely to die from a lightening strike than you are to win the lottery. So perhaps you should take yourself down to the Viaduct Events Centre on October 20 to get some tips from big dog Sir Richard Branson himself.

At age 16, this entrepreneur, adventurer, philanthropist (and let’s not forget billionaire) started up what would become the Virgin Group. He now employs 50,000 people across 30 countries, pulling in revenues over US $18 billion.

Not only will you get Branson’s words of wisdom, but New Zealand’s music legend Dave Dobbyn will also entertain you. Perhaps you can rub shoulders with Auckland’s elite with a pre-dinner cocktail. Fork out a little more for a Platinum hosted VIP table and you’re guaranteed an international celebrity or rugby legend seated at your table during the five-course gourmet dinner (no kidding; this is set out in the conditions of the ticket price).

Tickets are a little pricey at $1,144 a pop; but hey, you have to invest to realise the dream…
