Overview

From Germany’s entertainment capital comes Soap, a must see fusion of circus, comedy and cabaret sure to change any bath time. The astonishing live performance involves trapeze, acrobatics, juggling and an aerial show from a cast of eight hugely entertaining, enormously gifted if somewhat slightly insane entertainers.

Directed by Markus Pabst (Caesar Twins, La Clique) and Maximilian Rambaek (VibeZ), SOAP’s blend of classic cabaret and modern circus paired with dedication and creativity has wowed audiences at the Edinburgh Fringe and can claim a sold out season at the Sydney Opera House.

Set inside, on and around a bathtub, liberal splashing of bath water is not something to be frowned upon and is artistically used to create a stunning, if not slippery performance. The theatrical experience is choreographed to music from an array of genres including the music of Ben Harper, Gnarles Barkley, Mika and Tool as well as classical greats with the likes of Mozart and Strauss.
