Stellar Festival of Lights 2019
The commercial park comes alight for this family-friendly event.
Overview
Grab your woolies, beanie and the kids for the interactive after-dark delight that is Stellar Festival of Lights.
Returning to Smales Farm for its fifth year, Stellar promises a dazzling display of light installations which celebrate the rising Matariki (the Pleiades cluster of seven stars) and signify the start of the Māori New Year.
The weekend 12-14 July will see the commercial park come alive with interactive and engaging light installations designed by light architect Angus Muir, plus a touch of culture through workshops, performances and activities. And they haven't forgotten about happy tummies — the park's new dining precinct Goodside and a selection of Auckland's best loved street vendors will be serving up kai all evening.
With the stars aligning for an incredible night, make sure you mark this on you calendar as fun for the family.
