Overview

Survive & Thrive is Auckland’s smart-thinking event for all those contributing to New Zealand’s creative economy – those on the practical side, those on the business side and all those in between.

The theme for this year’s event is: We need to talk about the future. Attendees will be challenged to examine their creative practice or business across four strands of enquiry and will be encouraged to explore how thinking sustainably in a creative sector fuels success, viability and growth.

The day is packed full of action, with presentations by guest speakers, practical workshops offering tips and tools, ‘sounding board sessions’ where you can get advice from those in the know, as well as an expo of creative organisations and networking opportunities. Speakers include Coco Solid, Julia Arnett of Rekindle and Ross Liew from The Cut Collective.

And to top it all off, there’s a free lunch in the Survive & Thrive Soup Kitchen, supplied by Basilicum vegetarian restaurant.
