Taco and Tequila Pop-Up at De Nada

Even if there aren't many things that'd usually get you leaving home on a school night, we've found something that will: free tacos. On Tuesday, September 26, Mount Eden Mexican restaurant De Nada and tequila brand Alba are coming together to shower taco and tequila lovers with free — yes, free — food.

Hungry punters can pop into De Nada and score two tacos each in a range of different flavours from 5–10pm, or until the taco shelves have been emptied.

If you're not a taco fan but still fancy yourself some Mexican for dinner, De Nada has an extensive menu. Perhaps a chicken quesadilla is more your speed, or a simple — but unbeatable — bowl of guacamole and corn chips? For those looking for a bit of a Mexican adventure, the tuna sashimi nachos or the sirloin steak marinated in tequila might do the trick.

To wash the tacos down, De Nada's team will be serving up cans of ready-to-drink tequila-based cocktail Alba for $6. There are two flavours to choose from: a classic sparkling margarita and a grapefruit sparkling paloma.
