Takapuna Beach Summer Days Festival

Overview

The Takapuna Beach Summer Days Festival is back and more jam-packed with activities than ever. Happening from January 19 at Gould Reserve on the cusp of Takapuna's golden sand, all events are free so get in on the fun.

The festival kicks off at 11am for the kids to enjoy a wide variety of family entertainment including stage shows, circus and theatre workshops, face painting, a giant slide, a beach dig and heaps more.

From 3-7pm you can jam with local artists as they perform your favourite hits on stage. On the bill: Rodney Fisher and Nathan King of Goodshirt and Zed fame, covers band Encore, and jazz/R&B outfit My Greatest Now. Please note that Gould reserve is liquor-free from 9pm to 7am.

Feel free to bring a picnic, or enjoy local Takapuna fare, but there will also be food trucks galore, to spoil you for culinary choice. Bring your mates, bring the kids, and enjoy a chill summer day.
