Takapuna's Annual Hot Wing Eating Champs

Overview

Takapuna is known for its beautiful white-sand beach, amazing brunch spots and an awesome playground for kids, but there might also be something that's just slightly out of the ordinary. After Takapuna's first successful hot wing eating champs last November, Franc's Takapuna is holding another eating extravaganza and helping us to celebrate the end the summer appropriately with its second annual hot wing eating champs.

Contenders will battle it out to see who can handle the heat. The first to finish a half dozen of Franc's extra hot wings will be crowned Takapuna's hottest wingman/wingwoman. If you're not satisfied with just being a spectator and holding back on consuming all the spicy goodness, take up on Franc's offer of $1 wings and NZ's first ever hot sauce fondue all day to satisfy all your cravings.
