Overview

The latest in the Auckland Philharmonic Session Series sees the APO collaborate with Teeks. For one night only, the soulful Kiwi singer-songwriter will perform a selection of his current and new music in an intimate and acoustic concert experience at the Auckland Town Hall.

After releasing The Grapefruit Skies EP to critical acclaim, Teeks has gone from strength to strength. 2017 saw him nominated for a Silver Scroll for his song 'If Only', and 2018 saw him awarded Best Maori Artist at the New Zealand Music Awards. Having selected concert arranger Mahuia Bridgman-Cooper himself, there's no doubt that the start of 2019 will be an extraordinary one for Teeks, and an incredible orchestral experience for any ticketholder.

But Teeks is in demand, and the Auckland Town Hall has limited capacity. The first two allocations have already been exhausted, so if you consider yourself a number one Teeks fan or you're just looking for something different, head on over to the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra website for tickets.
