Overview

The Big Bike Film Night comes with the mission of sharing some of the world's best cycling short films. With three evenings of short films across Auckland CBD's Academy Cinemas, Devonport's The Vic and Waiheke Island's Community Cinema, this is the perfect event for all cycling fanatics and wannabe bikers.

Running from 28 June to 3 July, you'll get plenty of opportunities to catch a screening. Each film night will be jam-packed with action, drama, humour and an overall reminder of why we cycle. Learn about a seven-year-old girl who devotes her life to BMX, a community that built itself around cycling, and a relevant tale of two friends on an environmental mission through cycling. You're guaranteed to leave the cinema just bursting with inspiration.

Each session will run for just over two hours, with a good old fashioned 15-minute interval in between. Door sales will be available on the night but are cash only, so booking is advised, especially for larger groups. Treat yourself to an evening of incredible films, filled with captivating stories, inspirational humans and bikes galore.
