Overview

Sometimes bigger is better. The Big Show is exactly what it sounds like, and more.

As one of the most popular shows in the NZ International Comedy Festival, The Big Show has been showcasing and launching world-class comedians since 2006.

This year, the big two-hour festival will feature three international comedy talents. The lineup includes Alistair Barrie, "a no-frills master of craft", and Tom Houghton "the long-awaited male answer to Bridget Jones made flesh" of England, Chris Henry "a one-man hurricane of humour" of Scotland, Eleanor Tiernan "the fastest rising comedy talent in the country" of Ireland, and finally, Brennan Reece "a powerfully entertaining, unstoppable force" of England.

2018 saw the show as a sold-out success, so hopes are high for the festival's return.

Feast your ears on jokes galore, from the 14–18 of May at Q Theatre, Rangatira.
