Overview

If you missed this sell-out show in 2014, don't make the same mistake this time around. Silo Theatre's The Blind Date Project returns for another round of awkward, unpredictable and hilarious blind dates.

Created by Sydney's Ride On Theatre, Natalie Medlock reprises her role as serial-dater Anna in this live theatrical experience. Head to the Q Theatre and watch her meet her blind date a new performer each night. Award-winning Artistic Director Sophie Roberts takes care of the match-making, directing their actions throughout the night. Unscripted, unrehearsed and utterly unpredictable, the best of New Zealand's local talent have taken on this improv experiment. Watch their date play out as Natalie and her guest co-star are guided by live texts and calls.

The Blind Date Project has been performed around the world and boasts guests stars such as Margot Robbie, Laverne Cox, Jason Alexander and Alan Cumming, to name a few. A fully improvised show, there's no predicting how the night may end — just that it definitely involves tequila.

Blind dates for the 2019 season include: Pax Assadi, Kura Forrester, Robbie Magasiva, Eli Matthewson, Tom Sainsbury, Hayley Sproull, Jennifer Ward-Lealand, and several others.
