Overview

The Break Up [We Need To Talk] was first presented as part of the 2014 Fringe Festival in Wellington.

The play takes the full range of emotions we go through when parting ways with a lover, and wrings them out over six hours, with the help of five actors. Now, this may sound like a strange way to spend your Valentine's Day, but it promises to be a unique and enormously entertaining experience. Truly.

Staged by the ever inventive Binge Culture, as part of Auckland Fringe Festival, the show is an entirely improvised conversation between five performers. The audience is invited to watch the proceedings unravel over the full six hours, or dip in and out of the show throughout the day. You can also contribute your live commentary via the #bingebreakup hashtag.

This unique experience will surely make your Valentine's Day 2015 one to remember (and much better than that lame movie date you were planning).

To be confirmed whether banana costumes will be worn for the whole duration of the play.
