Overview
Coastal-themed eatery The Crab Shack has moved from one side of Princes Wharf to the other and now boasts an even sunnier outlook over Auckland's waterfront, a new menu and generous daily deals.
As the restaurant's name suggests, the menu offers a fresh bounty from the sea. The latest reworked version serves up everything from tuna poke to crab cakes and skillet crab mac 'n' cheese. If you really want to get messy, order an entire bucket of crab — whether it be king, mud, snow or soft shell. And for something less crabby, there's Nashville hot chicken.
Diners popping in between 4pm and 7pm every day of the week can nab oysters and chicken wings for just $2 a piece. Wash it all down with $5 wine and beer, or a cocktail for just $10.
