There's nothing quite like the heat, flavour and versatility of Mexican cuisine.

With Auckland Restaurant Month in full swing, chef Alfredo Icedo has created an exciting menu of distinctive dishes for a four-course dinner at Besos Latinos on Elliot Street to celebrate the month's festivities.

'Besos Latinos' is a direct translation of the Latin word 'kisses' which explains the eatery's aim to romance diners with a "mouth-watering exploration of authentic traditional Latin American cuisine".

You won't find any Tex-Mex nachos and guac here, as the Latin American owners Luis and Cecilia strive to bring only the most traditional style dishes to their New Zealand customers.

The special Auckland Restaurant Month menu is specially paired with a healthy dose of tequila. Grab a table quick because we can assure you it'll be a fun night, and you know what happens when the tequila comes out. The $85 ticket price includes four courses matched with tequilas.
