And sometimes when one can see one's breath and one has considered wearing a beanie on top of another beanie and one's nose just won't quit, it is hard to maintain one's social life. So The Golden Dawn have decided to bring us all out of hibernation for a night with their night markets.

The GD crew have curated a collection of eclectic books, vintage clothing, retro records, handmade jewellery and a whole lot of your classic market knick-knackery that will reignite your love for markets that died out in unison with Auckland's sunny season. Right now you're shaking your head and wondering whether you remembered to preheat your electric blanket for a night of heavy Netflix-ing, but hear me out. The guys at Golden Dawn are nothing if not in touch with their patrons, which is why they've got heaters cranking, blankets waiting, and mulled wine brewing, ready to welcome you warmly into their arms.

The market starts at 4pm and goes til 9pm. So you can cradle a mug of mulled wine, peruse the stalls, grab a bargain, and still be back home in time for a few episodes of Orange is the New Black before bed.
