The Jungle Giants
This Aussie four-piece create a genre-bending universe that's entirely their own.
Overview
Brisbane-based four-piece The Jungle Giants are heading to New Zealand shores for a one-off Auckland show – their first ever on Kiwi soil.
The indie rockers have played sold out headline dates and appeared at all the major Australian festivals. They have also played in LA, New York, and Singapore and have even racked up a whopping 30 million Spotify streams. Although they have worldwide success, they have never played in New Zealand before.
After the release of their third album Quiet Ferocity in July, The Jungle Giants have developed a huge Kiwi following. Recorded at Empire Studios in Brisbane, the 10-track record marks a key stylistic and musical evolution for the band, creating a genre-bending universe that's entirely their own.
The new album features 'On Your Way Down' and 'Feel the Way I Do', both tracks shine a light on the band's ability to combine simple arrangements with melodic intensity. "It makes you want to dance, but also clench your fists," says the band's frontman Sam Hales.
Don't miss The Jungle Giants when they cross the Tasman this month.
