Overview
The Status of Being is the newest work from Footnote New Zealand Dance, choreographed by Berlin-based New Zealand choreographer Alexa Wilson. The dance piece, labelled as “challenging”, creates three possibilities for our world in an effort to question our overall evolution.
The pieces each represent the state of our world based upon important events in history, the world today and possibilities for the future. The difference is that the audience is directed to choose from the three performances which they think is past, present or future, as well as their favourite.
Note: The Status of Being contains nudity and strong language.
