Celebrating its fifth year in 2016, The Very Vintage Day Out (VVDO) is making a comeback to satisfy your desire of living in a more vintage era.
Held at Alexandra Park, the festival will feature the crowning of Miss Pinup New Zealand 2016, judged by the well-known pinup star, Miss Victory Violet.
For those with a love for petrol, vintage cars will be on display. If this isn’t your fortay, you can don your apron for a bake-off, dabble in vintage knick-knack shopping, or bring out your inner seamstress in a fashion upcycling competition. And High Tea, of course.
Followed by The Very Vintage Weekend Tiki Party held on Sunday, you’ll finally be able to dust off the ol’ 1940s brown leather vintage jacket you’ve been so tightly holding onto.
