Fashion, beauty, burlesque and a pin-up pageant, it's what The Very Vintage Day Out is all about. Grab the gals and your favourite frock for a fabulous day of vintage celebrations, The Very Vintage Day Out is back for its third outing in 2014.

Visit the vintage-style beauty parlour for a makeover and peruse stalls featuring the best vintage wares from around the country. You'll find all kinds of treasures, knick-knacks and fashionable goods on display, from clothing and jewellery, to accessories and homeware.

Have yourself a delectable  high tea and be entertained by some of the best Rockabilly, Charleston, Rock’n’Roll, Swing and Burlesque performers the country has to offer. You can even have a go yourself if you fancy. A special feature of this year's Very Vintage Day Out is a performance from Canadian/Kiwi songstress, Tami Neilson, presenting a showcase from her brand new album.

The jewel in The Very Vintage Day Out crown is of course the Miss Pin Up New Zealand pageant, which brings together the best vintage-inspired beauties from around the country who will compete on stage for the coveted title.
