Overview

The contestant aptly nicknamed ‘hat beard’ on the latest season of X Factor New Zealand, will perform his first Auckland show outside of the televised cover song competition.

Known for his energetic, vein-popping performances, Stevie Tonks came fourth in the competition, only taking his exit after a rendition of Judy Garland’s ‘Over The Rainbow’ failed to impress the wider voting community. Now based back in his hometown of Christchurch, Tonks has been making the most of a jam packed schedule of live appearances and time in the studio working on an album.

His upcoming Auckland performance will be part of The Warehouse Sessions, a regular showcase of acoustic acts in an old warehouse. To help attendees match the energy provided by Tonks, boutique coffee makers Jordy's Brew Bar will be on hand with the caffeine.
