Overview

The Wolves is a play that shares life through the eyes of nine teenage girls and offers a glimpse into the energy, restlessness and vitality of youth.

It follows the lives of the girls, all on the same soccer team and gathering every Saturday to train and play. The audience is invited to join them as they navigate friendships and bullies, high ambitions, burning out and everything in between.

Sara DeLappe is the playwright and mastermind behind the play, which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama Finalist in 2017 and winner of the 2015 Relentless Award for Playwriting. A New York Times review described the play with the following, "The scary, exhilarating brightness of raw adolescence emanates from every scene."

For this version of the story, Sophie Roberts directs, while Ruby Read and Sean Lynch are behind the design of the production. This edition also features a cast of teenage performers and a special arrangement with Samuel French.
