Touring New Zealand on her first headline tour, ex-Christchurch pool lifeguard Theia will be filling the caverns of Neck of the Woods with her mix of electro-pop and R&B come Friday, July 6.
Theia first started songwriting around the age of six, but with horses being her key muse at the time. Much later on, she garnered some attention in the blog world while creating music under her original moniker PLUM. Now freshly repackaged and rebranded and with a single ('Roam') that has had just over 7.5 million listens on Spotify and sat on Spotify Australia's Viral 50 for some time, the pop musician is taking her music live. Previously Theia toured with Broods and Kings on the Electric Coastline Tour last summer, but her EP release tour will be the first time that she has performed as a headline act.
Theia's self-titled EP will be released on June 30 and will include her viral hit 'Roam' as well as her current single 'Treat You'.
