Overview

Our summer gig schedule is filling up fast, but we've always got the time to check out some of the city's best local acts who've had a tough couple of years gigs-wise.

Thursdays I'm In Love is a monthly music series from legendary venue The Tuning Fork, celebrating Aotearoa's music scene, with three local up-and-coming artists for you to discover — or just enjoy if you're already a big fan. Treat yourself to a drink, a bite to eat and support the local acts performing. The best part? Tickets only cost you a tenner.

To keep you fuelled, a $20 beer and taco deal runs during the evening — after all, you can't bop on an empty stomach.

For the first time, this month's event is being headlined by a sole vocalist — up and coming Aotearoa music star Paige. Fresh off the back of performing with Drax Project and Six60, she'll be treating Tuning Fork crowds with her meoloidc stylings this month. Supporting her will be alayna, an artist who has received a casual 20 million streams on Spotify with her 2018 debut EP.

This month's event is all about showcasing two of the country's fastest-rising wāhine artists, so head along to check it out.
Taking place Thursday, November 17 at 7pm, tickets are on sale now from Moshtix.
