Toi Tu Takeover at Silo Park — CANCELLED
Silo Park will become the backdrop for a variety of free workshops, demonstrations and exhibitions.
Overview
Auckland's Studio One Toi Tū is hosting a day to celebrate art and creativity at Silo Park this month. On Sunday, March 22, from midday until 6pm, Silo Park will become the backdrop for a wide variety of free immersive workshops, demonstrations and exhibitions.
The event is also hands-on, so anyone can try out various disciplines and get first-hand experience with different materials and styles. Featured at Silo Park will be figure drawing, clay making and pottery, collaborative art, and more. Exhibitions from local artists will also be on display, in a variety of styles and forms to give a healthy dose of inspiration.
Completing the day out is a selection of food trucks and lively music from noon until night. Studio One Toi Tū, located in Ponsonby, is a hub for local art. The venue offers exhibitions, space hire, creative courses and artist residencies. This is a family-friendly event and is free to enter.
