Overview

Christchurch based artist, Tom Lark, has been blessed with a penchant for transforming noise into revolutionary tunes, as my Shazam reflects with his music self-proclaimed as 'bedroom-born alt-pop'.

The 'Tom Lark EP' (available on bandcamp) was released in July 2011. His melodic harmonies are prevalent throughout his EP, especially obvious in the track 'All Night Long'.

The bohemian, alternative indie Sydney-siders Tigertown have exploded in popularity after the release of their debut EP. The band has played a series of high profile support shows for acts such as Husky, Matt Corby and Founds.

Scene regulars, the Artisan Guns are sure to hold down the stage as always, with their loyal fan following a testament to their always solid performances.

The Hamilton music teacher collective, also known as Sound the Ocean, round out the bill. Sound the Ocean are a 7-piece pop/rock band about to record their debut album in Neil Finn's Roundhouse Studios.

This night will be an ideal cure for those post-Laneway blues to raise the spirits back up, after that awful day back at work.
