Overview
Writer Finnius Teppett's piece Ushers is a play about waiting. Unlike other notable plays about waiting (looking at you, Waiting for Godot), the piece promises comedy and action.
Five over-bored and menially paid ushers hang around outside the theatre doors waiting for the show and their shifts to end - luckily, this is not all that happens for the duration of the play. After reaching a tipping point of ennui, the five characters take it upon themselves to find more extreme ways to pass the time.
What those extreme measures are, we'll just have to wait and see.
