Overview

The Vegan Food Fair hits ASB Showgrounds on Sunday 10 April this year, showcasing a plethora of vegan vendors from around the country, all promising to tantalise the tastebuds with their vege-based delights. Tickets are $15 for a family or $5 for a single entry.

The vegan and vegetarian lifestyles are growing in popularity and with many more trendy places popping up, offering delicious vege and vegan food, it's becoming a lot easier to get your fix. This festival is a testament to all the delectable cruelty-free food options available in NZ, such as La Petit Noix with their enviable cake creations, and Organic Mechanic for their fresh smoothies and juices.

Whether choosing to go sans-animal for moral or health reasons, there will be multitudes on offer to keep your tummy satisfied at the festival. Even the carnivorous are still welcome to give the other side a go, and with options from Wise Boys with burgers to die for and Angel Food with their unreal dairy-free cheese, it will be as if you didn't even notice there may have been something missing - because frankly, there wasn't.
