Prepare for a sexy '70s revival as Velvet drops by Q Theatre for Auckland Live's International Cabaret Season. Boasting some of the finest disco tracks, you won't be able to resist busting some moves of your own.
The raucous fusion of disco, dance and circus is directed by Aussie theatre buff, Craig Ilott. The disco extravaganza has it all — acrobatics, disco chanteuses and seductive vocals.
Musical director Joe Accaria leads an ensemble featuring "The Incredible Hula Boy" Craig Reid, rising Aussie vocalist Tom Oliver, retro acrobat Mirko Kockenberger, aerialist Emma Goh, muscle man Stephen Williams, superstars Kaylah Attard and Rechelle Mansour, and the legendary diva Marcia Hines.
