Overview

Nat Cheshire has helped shape the Auckland City we know today. Over the past three years, Cheshire and his team of architects have initiated two dozen projects covering four city blocks in downtown Britomart, as well as reinvented the City Works Depot. Last year, he branched out into domestic living and effortlessly won the sought after Home of the Year award with, not one, but two cabins on an inlet of the Kaipara Harbour.

Over the month of May, the Spark Lab's Architecture and Spaces will see a number of industry leaders share their ideas in a series of free-to-attend events looking at architecture, the environment and how it’s being changed by the things we place in it.

As part of the initiative, Cheshire will take the stage to discuss the future of Auckland, as well as his recent experience at the Monocle’s Quality of Life event, where he explored the idea of building better cities. The event will also feature a panel discussion and Q&A with Simon Wilson, editor of Metro magazine.
