Overview

Subterranean music venue and dive bar Whammy has been around for ten years now, in its existence championing good music, good liquor and good company. To mark the decade-long run, on the last weekend of October the venue will kick things up a notch with a four-day party.

A huge bill of local acts will play across three stages over the weekend. Between Whammy, Backroom and Wine Cellar you'll find electro-indie act A.C. Freazy, pizza-loving rock duo Dad Jokes, Wellington computer musician Disasteradio, local beatmaker/rapper Randa, Kody Nielson's future-disco dance act Silicon, among plenty of others.

Thursday will see a quiz night kickoff downstairs with a gold coin entry, while Saturday will welcome the Whammy Markets, a vegan pie eating contest, a special beer launch and more.
