Overview
A Canadian punk-rock band and a newly formed punk supergroup will descend on New Zealand for a three-date tour in June.
White Lung are noted as one of the standout acts of Vancouver's Emergency Room scene, an underground all-ages noise/performance art space located in the city's rat and drug infested downtown eastside. The band has released two albums in their eight year lifespan and will use their latest trip down under to launch their third titled Deep Fantasy.
Touring alongside White Lung will be US pop-punk four-piece, Upset. The supergroup is made up of former Hole drummer Patty Schemel, Ali Kohler - who drummed for Best Coast and Vivian Girls, Jennifer Prince formerly of La Sera and the new addition of Rachel Gagliardi from Slutever. The band released their debut album She’s Gone last October.
