Overview

Script to Screen brings you three experienced screen writers in conversation with producer Fraser Brown (Orphans and Kingdoms), talking about the trials and tribulations of writing their first feature. Topics discussed will include what-they wish-they-had-know the first time round, as well as the technical and emotional trails of writing a feature.

The screen writers speaking are Dianne Taylor, who wrote the two dramas Beyond the Known World and Apron Strings, Roseanne Liang the writer of the romantic comedy My Wedding and Other Secrets, and Max Currie who wrote the much-awarded Everything We Loved. Each of these speakers has had the experience of seeing their script come to life into a feature and is keen to share their expertise.

This event is also a great opportunity to meet other filmmarkers, so if you fancy mingling come at 7pm for drinks, stay for a slice of pizza afterwards. Talk runs from 7:30-8:30pm, $5 koha appreciated.
