Overview
Great news for the 200,000-odd noodle lovers that descended on the Night Noodle Markets last November — the hawker-style food gathering is set to make another appearance in Auckland. Due to popular demand, this time the outdoor noodle season will extend to ten nights at Victoria Park.
The Night Noodle Markets first started in Australia 18 years ago, only making its way across the pond last year with events in Queenstown, Christchurch and Wellington. The event is a pop-up market celebrating the thin squiggly cuisine of Asia, though you can also expect reliable favourites from the far east.
As well as drowning in noodles from every region, punters will have the opportunity to get their mitts on dumplings, curry, grilled bbq meat and more. Entry is totally free and dishes will range from $5 - $15. The event is also cashless so you'll only be able to pay with credit card or EFTPOS.
The Auckland Night Noodle Markets will take place at Victoria Park from 1-10 December. Trading hours: 5-10pm weekdays and 11.30am-10pm on weekends.
