Caretaker Is Now Delivering a Range of Single-Serve Bottled Cocktails
The care packages contain four of the bar's most-loved cocktails, perfectly diluted and ready to sip at home.
With plenty of time at home during lockdown your bartending skills are probably coming along nicely. But no matter how silky your egg white foam or how crystal-clear your hand-carved ice cubes, nothing quite compares to a well-made cocktail from the professionals.
Cosy Britomart speakeasy Caretaker is now shaking, stirring and mixing single-serve cocktails that you can enjoy from the comfort of your couch. The care packages contain four of the bar's most-loved cocktails, perfectly diluted and ready to sip at home.
The 'Ritz negroni' is a take on the classic stiff drink, only rinsed in absinthe; the boozy Hoffman House-style martini is finished with orange bitters; the 'Handyman' is a rum-based manhattan with hints of Campari; and the 'Fancy Free' is described as the dark and dry sibling of the old fashioned. The punchy jarred cocktails come in single 80–90 millilitre servings and can be enjoyed straight from the vessel or in your own glass.
The bar has collaborated with the team at Hallertau brewery to make the cocktail delivery service happen. All you have to do is place your order through the Hallertau website and wait for the delivery. One case of four Caretaker single-serve cocktails will set you back $56. And you might as well grab some delicious beer while you're at it.
