Overview

Does a musk of flame-grilled meat sound appealing to you? Would you like to smell like a fast food grease trap on a special night out?

Burger King Japan has revealed that they will release a Whopper-scented cologne on April 1, 2015. While the release date happens to fall on April Fools Day, the fast food chain has insisted the 'Flame-Grilled' fragrance is no joking matter and it also coincides with the inaugural Whopper Day.

A bottle of the burger scent will cost 5,000 yen (roughly $40 NZ dollars) and comes alongside a Whopper so carnivores can edge closer to the phrase, “you are what you eat.”

'Flame-Grilled' isn't Burger King’s first attempt at beauty products. In 2008 they released 'Flame by BK', a body spray for men described as "the scent of seduction with a hint of flame-broiled meat."
