Overview

Award-winning craft brewers and restauranteurs Deep Creek are slowly taking over Auckland one restaurant and beer at a time. With venues in Browns Bay, Waiheke, Orewa and now a brand new purpose built brewery/taproom in Silverdale, it's only up from here for the two King Country lads who launched the craft beer juggernaut out of a garage.

As well as the newly minted off-license, Deep Creek has also relaunched their core range in cans and changed the look of their bottles, including the intensely flavourful India Brown Ale 'Dusty Gringo' and 'Undercurrent', a balanced and easy drinking pilsner. Soon you'll be able to find these little beauties in supermarkets, so keep your eyes peeled for the brightly coloured cans.

To celebrate the launch of their new brewery and the entrance of their products into supermarkets the team at Deep Creek are opening the tap room doors with a bang. Entitled Libation this will be a weekend of free flowing beer straight from the taps and live music courtesy of local acts Phil Madsen, Eddie Gaiger, DJ Rusty and DJ DeeWhy. Just in case you work up an appetite food trucks Coast, Maidstone Burgers, Project Paco and DixieBBQ will be on hand serving delicious eats. Cans, bottles and flagons of freshly brewed beer will be available for purchase and to take home.

The Zeffer and Deep Creek Tap Room can be found at 4i Titan Place, Silverdale. It's open from Friday 13 from 3pm – 10pmSaturday 14 from 1pm – 10pm and Sunday 15 from 1pm – 7pm.
